I may eventually get one.. But I think I'm gonna wait it out and see what others think after they get it. With it being listed at 600fps (undoubtably an inflated number) and only being offered in .177 I'm thinking a lot of people are getting close to the same out of the c02 pistols that are offered now. I'm sure there is gonna be a market out there for these and a lot of people will buy them up because of the nitro piston in a pistol is a "new thing." Wonder how many ways there is to up the fps and if it will ever be powerful enough to offer in .22(which I would prefer) . And also wondering how many custom parts will be offered for this also. As much as I really don't want to I'm gonna hold out for a bit..

Got mine ordered this will be my 3rd "air gun" my second breakbarrel I don't see how I could expect anything less than perfect performance out of this its too simple I'm going to show you guys once it comes I don't have a good crony but the crony connect app. On my phone works well I'm going to upgrade the rear sight soon after it gets here to a better open sight and see if I can fab. Up some custom barrel washers or something fun. Happ shooting!

I've actually been looking for a pistol to go with my Trail AW. Please keep us posted.

A little off thread, but what phone are you using Chrono Connect on. It don't work worth a hoot on the Iphone, or I need to figure out how to use it right.

Well, apparently 100 people didn't want to wait since by the time I got to the site (read my email too late that day) they were not available for sale. I'd like to try one out too. Was very disappointed by the Ruger and was hoping this was smoother cocking than the RWS models I have. The wasps are making thier presence known and this would be a good accurancy trial for the new Crosman. Hoping to hear/read some updates.

i'm interested. right now i have a borrowed american classic in a 177. i need to get my own and stop freeloading. I think this will be good for keeping the garden safe from critters. I also dont want to deal with co2 cartridges.

Maybe i'm just naive, is there a reason why we shouldn't expect a good product?

I threw the cocking aid on and went out back. It shot horrible! Shooting way too low and didn't group worth a @$%^. I was pretty disappointed and wasn't sure how to react. I went back outside a little later and wanted to see how hard it is to cock the gun without the cocking aid. Not too bad, its "do-able".

I took a few shots and to my surprise the pistol suddenly became VERY accurate. The cocking aid is just that, a cocking aid. Although crosman claims you can shoot with it attached, the accuracy will suffer greatly. I didn't even bother taking pics of the the crummy groups.

Here are some WITHOUT the cocking aid, from 20ft, standing, 2 hand hold, 1" circle targets.

Sounds to me like the pellets may have been clipping the "cocking aid" did you check to see if the pellets were hitting it anywhere on the inside? Maybe when you were cocking it, it slipped off a little bit and caused you the problems.

The assist fits very tight, and really can't be put on "wrong". I think it is causing some sort of turbulence or something like that. Another reviewer on a different site had the same thing to say about the assist affecting accuracy, and shooting much lower with it on.

The quality of the build seems pretty good. The pistol is HEAVY, does not feel like a toy. I like the fiber optic sights, red in front, green in back.
Velocity advertised on Pyramyd is 600fps. On the box it states 525fps with lead pellets, up to 625 with lead free pellets. Hopefully someone with a chrony gets a hold of one and can give us some real fps readings.

As far as the trigger. Its ok. Plenty of creep to get to the sweet spot where the trigger actually breaks and the gun fires. It is adjustable but I have not messed with it yet. It may have the potential to be much much better.

First impression was horrible when I was shooting with the assist attached. I was ready to call crosman and just send it back.

Second impression, after removing the assist.....WOW, this is a completely different pistol. Quite impressed with the groups it shot without the assist attached and not even broken in yet. Can't wait to see how it performs after a full tin of pellets.

Got mine as well I haven't shot it much just cleaned the barrel up u really need to snsp the barrel back hard to lock it up in some cases but i'm happy for the money and I wasn't expecting the world either the rear sight wasn't square but that was fixed with a screwdriver and I don't like the red paint on the crosbolt safety its loke pink and pretty messy so s few fit and finish things but nothing to complain about
