Ancient HW35 0.22; make-over

Here are before and after fotos of my old 35; my friendly local shop removed the moderator which was epoxy glued into place (a blow-torch,lump hammer and a set of mole-grips were used !!),I then fitted a plastic S.200 muzzle protector ,resprayed an old spare stock and put on a better 3-9x40 a.o. Nikko scope and I thnk it definately looks less "clunkey................. "

Nice paint job on your stock.  I am working on an HW-55 and had a lot of trouble on the staining.  I have put a lot of time and effort into it and still not there yet.  Just couldn't bring myself to paint the old girl, but I may end up doing that.

Nice work on that HW35.  I think the new muzzle protector looks improved. 

Your camo paint job does add a certain edge to the rifle.  Its a modern version of the classic "Safari" model HW35 with the green-stained stock.

Thanks for the kind words everybody, I got the camo paint idea from this video; ,(the paint job is done 20 minutes into the video) ;all you need is a couple of tins of paint and some plastic leaves or ferns (which I "borrowed" from one of my wife`s flower arrangements !).
