Baikal IZH 53m varieties??

Anyone know the differences between these pistols. I noticed that there seems to be at least 3 different varieties of Baikal IZH 53m.....different stocks, different sights, different triggers...But all the same pistol as far as "IZH 53m"

The pictures you have are the same model - it has evolved over the years.  Bottom picture is first version, middle picture is second version, top picture is current version.

Thanks for the welcome Joe! I really liked the pistol while I had for an afternoon. I received it friday morning. I shot it for a few hours and came to the conclusion that it shoots too high and to left. Sight adjustment was maxed out. Called Pyramyd and they said it sound like a defect problem and to send it back for a replacement. So now its just a waiting game till they get it and send a new one. It did group really well though despite shooting off target.

The grips on the original version look nice and ergonomic. Too bad they changed it.

I've had no problems with mine.  Grips are fat, about like a Glock 20/21.  Trigger is very light & breaks clean at about 2 lbs.  Price has risen some, now $80.

I did like the feel, and size of the grips, and yes the price is up to about $80. I used a 10% pyramyd coupon that brought it closer to 70.
Another thing I noticed about my pistol the short time I had it was that the trigger pull was NOT light. Definitely no where near the advertised 2lbs. Maybe I just ended up with a "dud". Hopefully the replacement will be much better.

Hey guys, new member and looking to be a new Baikal owner also. I was wondering what you guys thought of the accuracy of the pistol? I've heard so many different stories not sure what to believe...

I see no one answered your question, so I'll try. I'm new to airguns, but the accuracy seems very good compared to my other pistols. I'm still getting the hang of it, but it shoots where I expect it to. The trigger started out horrible- very variable between about 5 and 12 lbs, but has smoothed out and is down to about 2-4 lbs now, though still a bit variable, which doesn't help accuracy. I had to adjust the rear sight about 1/4 inch to the right, but it's now spot on. I just shot the attached target for illustration- 8.5x11, NRA 50yd smallbore target, inner rings only, largest is just under 4" diameter; practice at top (the flyers are my fault- still getting the hold right) and five shots at the bottom, from 28 ft., one handed standing. Hope that helps.
