Well today I was able to finish up another hand made bushing and washer for gas ram in my Venom. Also made a set of custom bras thrust washers for breech pivot. Was going to put my new Summit stock on her but decided to put my Titan stock on her instead. Set new Center Point Scope on top and away we went..
Two clicks off of dead center on first shot. Dam accuarte as well. At this point she was pushing JSB's at 900 fps. Abit on the high side for me but she was dead on the bulls eye through 40 shots or so.
I used a JM Tesla seal to replace standard Crosman seal which was pretty chewed up. Also installed a new GRT-iii trigger and made adjustments. Here are some picturs of the stuff I did.. Pictures not to clear but readable..
Think this baby is a keeper. Close match for my Crosman RamQuest...

Gene it looks great I hope it shoots like your ramquest I surely was impressed with it and your marksman ship is amazing , you guys would have to see it to beleive it. I seen him shoot a cat food can at 55 yards and shot it so close to the same hole by the time he got done shooting it the hole was as big as a silver dollar. I just set my stuff down and watched not counting I was about to freeze but it did not stop him . Thanks David

Hello Gene I wish I had your talent...looks great!. BTW I have the Trail NP and still don't know what size piston seal to get. The old one measured about .989''/.994'' OD with my old eyes and old calipers. I sure would like to order from JM but can't figure out what seal size to use. Many tanks Gene, grey.hairs

Alan is correct on the seals. I buy both of them also and resize if need be. You just do not want to get a seal that is to tight. Slow you way down. So far for the Trail NP's I have tuned the Tesla seal was the best fit off the shelf.
