I have the Webley equivalent of the Striker 1000, in the ValueMax. It's in .22 cal but is one of the most enjoyable rifles I have. Nothing special but just really enjoyable to use - nice to hold, easy to aim, nice to fire etc. I suspect you'll know just what I mean with yours... Enjoy it much... Oh, you already are - Good..!!

They do seem to shoulder nicely, picture compares my 1000s to my Walther Talon Mag. 

Shorter and lighter, I think the 1000s might be easier to carry all day in the field.

Really, the only reason I chose the Webley over the Hatsan (same brand anyway) was it had a slightly longer butt and shouldered "just right" for me. The Striker came up to the shoulder just as good but it flet slightly closer in,, just a little... Hope PA don't mind me showing their pic. Apart from the camo mine is identical to this...
