My little bug hole shooter has turned into a shotgun. Sometimes a vertical string patter and sometimes just a disbursed pattern. I took off the peeps and put the scope back on it and shot five different types of pellets. Strangely it grouped with two of the types of pellets for awhile and then started throwing them as well. When I got it form Jim E it was shooting a consistent strong velocity and I have probably only shot a tin of pellets in it. It has a blue seal that looks OK to me but I don't know much about ARs. I cleaned the barrel with Balistoil after shooting and haven't had chance to see how it will shoot. I assume I will need to fire a number of pellets through it after the cleaning. But from looking at the patches I don't think the barrel needed cleaning. I will order a chronograph and check the velocity. If it is low or inconsistent I assume the the piston seal and breech seal should be replaced. I have no idea when it was tuned last. Maybe there is a problem with the spring. I am looking for recommendations as to where to send it for tuning if it isn't grouping well after the cleaning. It needs to be re-blued as well and if I send it off for tuning getting it blued at the same time, if I can afford it, would work out well.

Pilk Guns just repaired my FWB601.

I have no idea if they do re-bluing. They quoted me a price and stuck to it and the rifle came back as new.
