Finally got time to play with a new Hatsan 95 in 25cal

Got a little time to play with my new Hatsan 95 in 25 cal. First impressions when pulling it out of the box, lot of rifle for the money. Mine was slick, no cosmetic issues, bag was sealed, no surprises. Very impressed with the stock for the price, not impressed with the scope and rings, no surprise there. I didn't even mess with them, bought a CP 4x16 from Walmart as I didn't want to wait and I knew if it was a $)((# I could take it back. Pulled the rings on it to and replaced it with a UTG 1-pc setup. Wiped it down, tightened everything, goo goned the barrel and I'm ready. I bought 2 types of pelllets to start, the Webley 27.8gr AccuPell and Beeman 26.3 Silver Bear. I've left the trigger alone it breaks at a crisp 3.5lbs out of the box and started shooting. Only have 25 down it, still diesels a little and the Beeman's will shoot under 1" at 50ft with little effort, the Accupells are all over the place. This rifle is probably the most hold sensitive rifle I own. I can sit it in a rest right in front of the trigger guard and it will string pellets 1.5" low and 1" to the left in a 1.5" group. Rest it in my palm and it's right on the money 5 shots@.75". Some pics of the setup I'm using.

That is a really nice rifle. I have a .22 running at 12ft/lb on order (I am in London).
What are you using the rifle for? Hunting? I expect it is quite a thumper in .25 cal !

Right now just punching paper with it. Its my first 25cal and frankly it was a low cost investment just to see what it was all about. For the money I'll probably buy the 22cal version but for hunting these are pretty heavy to lug around. I'm banking on some aftermarket supplyer coming up with either a premium seal or tune kit.

Very nice AG, congrats. Are those the "high" 1pc mounts?
Thanks
