Questions for New, Old, and Previous TX200 MkIII Owners

I'm about to purchase a new TX200 MkIII 177 cal. and need some information about the gun to pick up the accessories. I have researched the net for reviews and general info, but what I really need is some practical information from owners.
I'll not labor the post with a grocery list but will keep it to the following few questions:
1. What pellet was the most accurate for distances of 55 yards and closer?
2. How long can I expect the original spring and seal to last before I need to replace them?
3. When I do replace the spring and seal, what aftermarket supplier do you recommend, or do you prefer to use Air Arms replacement parts?
4. What scope mount do you recommend for this gun?
I truly appreciate your input in helping me outfit this gun to its full potential.
Really would love to hear from Gene and "Da Tuna" on this one.
Thanks to all who reply, Larry

Dear Gatorgunner ,any of the JSB family of pellets will go well,so that includes (all 4.52mm)Exacts ,Jumbos,Air Arms Field,Air Arms Falcons,Webley Mosquitos and JSB Express.
As for the spring ,the TX200 spring is under very little pre load so will last longer than most.
If you are rebuilding the gun Air Arms can give you a Service kit ,which includes ;piston seal,replacement delrin bearing rings which locate in two grooves around the piston (and make the rifle so smooooth!!), the little breach seals, mainspring,lube and spacers so you can adjust the power to what you want it to be.You are in my honest opinion best to buy this as all parts will work as Air Arms originally intended;

Take care
Kenny.

I haven't really shot my TX200 enought to tell you about pellets. What I can say is for replacement springs and seals I like to use
www.airrifleheadquarters.com
Very nice seals and springs. He also sells drop in tune kits. I just tuned my B40 (clone of TX200) and what a difference.

I just got my TX200, and like Harry Palmer said - the JSB pellets seem best. In my trolling of Jim Maccari's site( Airrifleheadquarters) , I noticed his advice to keep it "light" on the pellet weights. Like 9.0 gr. max. The guy is infinately wiser than I am when it comes to spring guns, so I'm taking his advice so far.
Scope mounts? Most of the guys here at GTA say a good one piece mount is the way to go. I wanted to put a Hawke Eclipse 4x16 on mine (30mm), so I chose the BKL360 . Probably overkill, but the thing is like a rock when you tighten it down.
You're going to love the accuracy.

On my B40 (TX Clone) I use CPL 7.9 or the JSB 8.44. Both shoot well from the gun. As for a scope and mount I went overkill and got a Leapers 4-16x50 AO IR and used the Beeman/Sportsmatch 5039 adjustable one piece ring mount. Vortek makes an adjustable power kit for that gun that you can adjust from 12FPE to 15FPE if you have the FAC piston in it. You are buying a fantastic gun.
