Nothing wrong with that for a $150 price point NP break barrel ... But come on INNOVATION people !!

Okat "I" am springer ignorant, do own an RWS 48/52 and shot a few top end springers but havent even run into a pic of newer lost cost crosmans. What is the trigger like on any of th mention? I just never noticed one with the saftey looking like the narauder set up, any chance they are that good?

I don't know man. Don't think anyone has got their hands on them yet. I hope the new models have good triggers and shoot straight. If they end up winners, I'll own some new rifles soon.

I'm hoping too for good triggers on the Crosman Springers. I think when they start making them, I will buy a Crosman Springer....even though that Legacy sure looks good. Ooh ooh, maybe get a legacy and install NP XL gas ram in it...hmmm.

A Legacy with a nitro piston would be great.  OOPS there it is.

Interesting looking gun. According to the marketing it is a two stage trigger, which would be nice if a true version. It certainly doesnt look like the common Crosman trigger setup. They also claim 21FPE, so it definitely can't be a typical b18/19 platform if that's a close number. Of course, marketing always overstates everything, so who knows. They also claim a $349.00 price tag, which to me says this is most likely a repackaged Trail platform.

If you compare the details .22 Legacy side by side with the .22 Trail NP, there appears a lot they have in common, although the folks at Crosman are showing different Primary purposes for the Legacy (but I think this is an error). ~Ken

Most of the Crosman Line of springers, say "2 Stage adjustable trigger", so most likely a CDT trigger will be needed.

I know it's just the way things work, but it drives me crazy when they announce new things and they don't show up for an eternity! Still waiting to get my hands on some of those Napier pellets for the smaller bores which they announced before the shot show last year!

Looking at the picture it looks like the barrel is a copy of the Gamo plastic wrapped barrels. With thin tube/barrel wrapped in plastic. I sure hope not. Would kill me if Crosman is going in that directions.

I downloaded the manual and the drawing and instructions for adjusting the trigger are exactly the same as those in my Trail NP manual. The trigger and safely also look the same as my Trail NP, so CDT trigger will be in order. It just looks like a Trail NP with a different stock and barrel shroud. Since it weighs less, I'm betting on the plastic shroud. I wouldn't mind trying that stock on my Trail NP though.

The velocity specs are also the same as for the Trail NP, so I don't see it getting much over 17 fpe, certainly not 21 fpe. The best that my stock NP gets is 17.5 fpe average with RWS Superdome.
