My Pro-Mac kit came in the mail today and thanks to all of you that gave me such good info, I'm up and shooting ! It went together really easy and I did have a little dieseling for a couple of shots and a little moly came out of the port, but after 3-4 pellets it's clean. I put the old Tasco scope that came with it back on (I'm assuming it's from the early 80's) and with a little adjustment I'm getting 1/2" groups @ 20yds. I'll fine tune it more tomorrow and see what happens. Thanks again to all of you for all the great help !!

Won't be long and those 20 yard groups will turn into one small hole. Glad to hear things are going well with your Sporter rebuild. Keep us updated!!!!!

I'm glad to hear the installation went smoothly. It looks from the accuracy results, you've got a good one. I'd expect those groups to tighten up as the new kit breaks in and you get a little bit more familiar with the new rifle.
Both of my FWB 124s have nice, tight breeches and generally are not pellet fussy. From testing I've done, both seem to shoot the JSB 8.4 grain Exacts the extremely well at my regular 22 yards, and even out to 40 yards on the occasions I stretch the range out that far. I highly recommend giving some a try, along with some other quality domed pellets when you get the chance.
Have fun!

Wow- very cool. Great job!
I love my FWB124 so much, that it would be the last to go, if I were destitute and in need of the money.

Good job! To me the best part is the satisfaction of doing it yourself.
I also agree with Lizzie's above post.
