Donate. I just had an idea.

I just recieved  a notice today from Delta airlines regarding the unused miles that I have and need to" use them or loose them."  They had a list of magazines that could be subscribed to using the miles.  I looked at the list and thought that I really don't like magazines as the articles are too light weight and the mags just need to be thrown away eventually.  So here I sat with my beer and paint brush.... thinking.  Then I remembered the "Wounded Warrior" program.     I had my wife call and we both donated our unused miles so that maybe, hopefully, they will be used for the purpose of helping a wounded Service Member home for the holidays. Or any purpose as long as the purpose is worthwhile .  I can still remember how kind my Dad was to wounded during the Vietnam war and afterwards.  This was at Fort Gordon, Georgia.  I think he would approve of letting Vets using the skymiles.

So in closeing,  if any of ya'll have any skymiles that are about to expire.....think about donating them for a good cause.

The concept of "paying it forward" is one of the greatest things ever conceived... seems the more favors I do come back to me in multiples! Great thought on the miles Bogey
