Benji Trail NPAW 495 fps

I finally got my NPAW 495 fps tore down and there were no hole in the piston to fill.  It seems that they just build them with a piston that is not charged with as much gas as the faster models.  Guess I will have to get my hands on a better piston to get my velocities up.

There are absolutely no markings of any sort on it, nor can I find a parts list on the Crosman site for this model and to top it all off I cannot send Crosman an email as the site does not understand my Canadian postal code!

They're sending me a new piston, but the confirmation email Crosman sent did not include a part number.  The guy I dealt with, Cameron, had to check on the availability of the piston...  I suspect that Crosman is having to replace a lot of these.

*EDIT:  Does your Trail's model number begin with a 5?  I was told that these are European models, detuned for lower velocities, and not to be sold in the United States...  Not sure about Canada, though.

My model number is BT5M22SNP, the higher velocity model is available in Canada but requires a P.A.L. (possession acquisition license) and that the gun be registered as a firearm in our long gun registry! (on a side note, this has really helped with gun crimes in our country as ALL the criminals now register their illegal guns)

Once both levels of government have approved my application for a PAL and I actually have it in my possession (takes at least three to four months after passing the test and sending in the results) I will give Crosman a call and see if I can get a fully charged piston.
