This project was inexpensive. you just have to be bold enough to drill into your nice stock. Here are the results

From where did you source the parts? Does that knee rest stay locked into position well?

The answer is yes as you can see from the second photo I can lock it into place. If you want to know where I bought the parts check out:http://www.gpscity.com/mounts
and look under RAM 1" Rubber Ball "B" Size HOLDER/ADAPTER Components and the stainless steel knee cup is from
www.Surlatable.com
The Bipod was from Pyramid.

Does the bipod affect the accuracy by not allowing the gun to recoil?

The Bipod i use slides on any surface, the bottom is a cup shape. It does not affect the accuracy.
