2400 kt is finally done.

So here she is my ccs 2400 kt. Added long probe bolt, heavier hammer spirng green one from hipac, hipac pcp conversion, icemaker line for the transfer port, tko break. Just could not get my modded valve to perform so its running a bone stock valve and im happy. She is spitting 15.9 gr jsb at 589 fps avg with a 17 shot string from 577 to 591 then stopped at 574. I start at 1800 and ended about 1450. The group is 5 shots at 15 yds with a 3/4 in dot and a pellet for size comparrison. Over all alot of work on the hot rod valve for nothing but im happy with the way she is. Accurate, enough power for pest and quiet.

Glad to see you got it together.  I have just about got mine back to original condition, but I am looking to HiPac it.
Did you do the valve mod yourself, or purchase an aftermarket one?

Man the valve is what killed me and took all the time. I never did get it to work right. So i am running the bone stock 2400 valve. On the vavle i modded it started as a 2250 valve the i cut the piercing needle off, bored and polished the entire inside, drill out the inlet port, angled the outlet port and drill it to 3/16,  drilled out the area right below the exhaust port to 1/4 inch and replaced all the seals with the high pac seal. I tried 3 different springs inside the valve and 3 more hammer springs trying to get the right combo but never could get it to where i was happy. The valve game whipped me.

I did throw together a power adjuster last night and it works good.lol so i guess you are never really done just take a break every now and then. For the power adjuster i just drilled out the stock end cap to 5/16 threaded it to a lag bold i had. The tapered the end of the lag bolt so it would center the spring polished all of it to a mirror finish and installed.
