Rebuilding Airhawk/BAM25, any advice

I'm tearing into a new Airhawk, basically just to update with new lubes, address any issues I might find and just improve on the basic rifle. Anything that you can do to improve on the long pull of the trigger? Can't find any trigger upgrades so I'm assuming anything you do is just reworking the existing trigger. I'm not looking to replace anything unless it needs it, just want to do a basic once over to correct any manufacturing shortcuts. Any suggestions of something I should'nt do?

Do a search for the the 2 screw trigger info,Mike Melick has posted it a few times.Helps a lot with the trigger.

going through the search function I can find plenty on Mike, just nothing telling me how to do the screw mod on the trigger. I see a pic on it but no details on how to do it, just send it to Mike.

I think a while back Mike was offering if you send him your trigger group and $15 he would send you a 2 screw trigger group

Here you go http://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php/topic,39090.msg364177.html#msg364177  It's wasn't hard to do but I'm handy with things like that, if your not comfy with it just send your trigger to mike. Here is a picture of my Ruger BlackHawk Trigger.

I screwed the trigger to a block of wood to keep it at the right angle.   

The first time I didn't take out the top flipper part of the sear and it was gritty so I had to redo it and get that piece out.  It wasn't that bad.   Also, took about 1 coil off of the top coil spring right at the back of the trigger piece.  i think mine turned out nice.

I also took the barrel off to try and smooth out the transfer port because it was smashing the pellet skirts.  The sides of the tube that go around the breach block were pretty darn rough.  The washer was gouged up under there.  I think the joint may have been too tight too.   But the two projects seem to have much improved the thing.

I did the two screw mod as described in the link from mikeiniowa, it was a huge improvement and took just a few minutes to do. I also deburred, polished and lubed all the contact surfaces with moly and graphite.  If the long pull is your concern, I can tell you that it has fairly wide range of adjustability  after the mod.
