Well, "I" am no expert on tanks (do have a 110cf 3240psi steel tank) but it looks to me that it would be a rather old (which is okay really, as long as it passes hydro) 2250psi tank and a smaller one at that.Should be legal to ship WITH air ground freight(?). Take any dead empty tank to your scuba shop and there is a very good chance they will not fill it w/out a fresh hydro (maybe $35-50.00) a dead empty steel tank is even worse than an empty AL tank, think rust, the scuba shop will. You might be well served to shop around your local scuba stores for a used tank, $100-150 is common for say an 80cf Aluminum tank with current hydro. You would get some fills off a 2250 tank for a discovery but not to many. Depending on where you live "I" might contact the seller (call your scuba shop with the tank #'s first as I did mention"I" am not good at these numbers) and see if "I" could just pay him the $35.00 and let him keep the tank as shipping could ad as much as $60.00 to the price, just a thought.
