Crosman M4-177 Questions?

Does anybody have one of these guys?  If so, what do you think? What pellets does it like to eat? Try scoping it? What did you use? Anything just plain not so good about them? Any fun just shooting BB's?
They look like a lot of fun, even though with my background, some of my neighbors might freak out for a couple of seconds!

it's rifled so i would avoid the bb's. mine shoots pretty good. has pretty good trigger to boot. mostly plastic but still pretty solid. i am using a reflex red dot sight on mine and love it. here is a pic after shadow camo'ed it.

mine is labeled browning. i've seen the exact same sight with multiple names all for about the same price $50-$60. i use one on my browning buckmark as well. gonna put one on my ar15 if i ever finish it

Mine shoots good with good ol crosman hallow points got a fix power 4 x 32 scope on it . Only  real down side is the noise from pumping .my some what fix to that was taking it apart and filling the pump arm are and bb housing plus other hallow areas with low expanding foam .had to be extremely careful not to make a big mess of it tho but the out come was good for me .

I just got one for Christmas.  It shoots great and was quite accurate right out of the box. I would like to get a laser sight but not sure where to add it.  It may be in the way of the forearm when pumping if I use the bottom rail on front.  Would like some ideas on how to add laser sight to the m4-177.  Any ideas out there??

I like mine. Like others have said, it is suprisingly accurate. I have only shot pellets, no bbs. Pumping is loud but I solved this with a strip of felt. It does have a lot of plastic but is still a really cool gun. I use a red dot on mine as I couldn't hit much with the iron sights. I hold the top of the gun in front of the red dot when pumping. Works out well. It is a nice gun for the 65 dollars a paid for it.

Congrats on your M4.  I love mine.  A red dot is not the same as a laser sight.  You should do some more reading before purchasing to ensure you get what you want.

I would get a red dot over a laser djam99. Lasers are hard to see in the day time and even harder at longer distances. I put a Tasco red dot on mine. It works great out to 25 yards. Mine has an AR15/M4 flat top mount that allows you to mount more accessories.

here is a link to one similar to mine. its looks exactly the same but just different brand. anything with a weaver style mount will work like stated above, a laser is quite a bit more difficult to see in the daylight than a red dot/reflex sight.

I use Crosman Destroyers in mine but generally they shoot almost anything good.

not the absolute most accurate, but i use predators in mine. i often use rws wad cutters as well for short range plinking and target shooting.
