Nominal bore size for airgun barrels is 0.217" for .22 cal and 0.250" for .25 cal.... I understand some of the Korean .25's are a couple thou larger.... My experience has been that for cast bullets with no skirt, you want bore size or 0.0005" larger.... At 0.001" over they begin to get hard to load....

from what i,ve read it says that .217 works well in american made barrels and the .250 to .253 in .25 you,re right bout korean .25,s and .22,s as well are larger ..was thinking of getting some .50 & 53 grainers for my condor with some ballistic gel to see the damage that can be done ,really want to see the expansion and compare to pellets with skirts !thx

I considered the hollowpoints for my Condor. Luckily, the Surefire slugs (0.251) work well with my Condor. SureFire slugs are $15 for 100. Mr. Hollowpoints are a lot more expensive ($50 for 100).

If you have a .25 LW barrel with regular rifleing, you want .251 sized slugs. If you have the .25 LW with the polygonal rifleing, you want the slugs sized to .252. i got this above info from talon airgun forum..so .251 is one i may want to try ....great stuff from what i,ve read and price is very reasonable
..thx
