Hey Dockey, hope someone joins you in this match.  I usually do my 30 yard matches in the gun range on the weekends.  Past two weekends (And tomorrow) I've been deer hunting so can't do those matches.

Dockey....went muzzle loader deer hunting on Saturday and regular rifle deer hunting Sunday (Different zones).  All H.T and I got was fresh air.....at both locations we only heard one shot each (We only hunted in the late afternoon).

So far I've only got a front leg and some meat from a deer one of my other friends shot a week ago (I was 250 yards from him at the time).  So I'm OK with that.

I'm waiting for our shotgun season, I have 6 or 7 that come within 200 feet of the house. I think the apples and sweet potatoes have something to do with it. Also helps that nobody hunts this section.

Haven't shot a slug with my shotgun yet.  Guess the accuracy is up to 50+ yards?
Shot the new copper jacketed bullets from a new-to-me used muzzleloader.....holy cow....it was accurate.  Sighted in 2" high at 50 yards and it gave me bullseyes at 100 yards (Very close to it).  No left-right drift.  So even at 120 yards I'm confident the bullet will hit a deer with the cross-hairs resting on its back.
