i was getting some "me" time in this weekend, cleaning my little shed/garage type thing i have, and i hear acorns hitting the roof... in a strange fassion, with no wind.   i grab the CFX royal, and a FTT pellet, lock and load, peek outside, and get a very clean upwards shot from high up in the tree.  straight up, probably 15-20 yds.  dropped dead, without a death dance, the pellet did not exit, but left a huge bulge in the top of his head.

It sounds like you have already cleaned house..  Do you spend hours like me looking for one? heheh   I only see or hear one every couple of weeks.  The last dry spell was 19 days!  Oh well, I just hope the night action makes up for it.  One coon equals 4-5 squirrels in my book depending on size.. Country rat = 3 Grays!

Actually harry, i got promoted.... i've been in a friggin class until the 27th, i graduate this week.. then go straight into 6x12 shifts.... long long hours ahead of me.  i'l be able to take a day to go hunting sometime after Christmas.....

Congrat on the promotion to the next grade. Get all the schooling you can,stay as long as you can.......even go over twenty......document all medical for compensation......save for your retirement home and buy your retirement property ASAP!
