shoots great! It was shooting 5 in a little 1/4 cloverleaf @10M with the 3x9x40 Centerpoint that comes on NP22's.Every time. One night I was showing off for G-kids and nailing aspirin 4 outta 5 at 10M.Decided anything that shot that well deserved a better scope,so I borrowed the Leapers 4x16x40 from my Benji, which is having lockup issues. The ridiculously large scope somehow still fits in case (barely),and sure solves eye relief issue, lol. havent got it back to where it was, yet, but I think it's because I accidently bought 8.2g Miesters rather than the 7.0g's it loves. An $80 AG that only likes expensive pellets.I'm lucky that way.

Thanks for the compliments, guys.I didnt spend a lot of time on the wood, just cut down and trued-up foregrip, sanded off original finish, rubbed in some Old English dark scratch-cover with OO steel wool, and a couple of coats of tung oil.It seemed that the longer I rubbed w/ steel wool, the more it darkened and streaked. This thing turned out way better than I intended, just a lucky gun I think.I think it is getting a gas ram conversion this winter, thanks to scotchmo doing all the homework for me (Thanks!)

What a great 're-cycle' idea for an old maglite.
Now it's a 'green' gun.
Well done !
