Value of Beeman's Custom FWB 124

I have 2 custom FWB 124s ordered from Beemans in the 1970s. A .177 and a .22. Over the years I favored the .22 for target shooting and pest control and neglected the .177. Upshot, it has languished in the locker and only been fired maybe a hundred times. It is in absolutely mint condition. It has a beautiful figured stock and "Imported by Beemans" is stamped on the R. receiver. I just got it out, gave it a drop of spring piston oil and air chamber oil and it works perfectly.

Supposedly, it was made for Mrs. Beeman. I was sent a letter about this, but threw it out. Evidently I wasn't the only one who got this notice, and several comparable guns were produced. Search the internet for "queen bee FWB 124" for more info.

I'd like to sell it but am not sure what it is worth. I also have thousands of jet, silver jet and Beeman Laser pellets to go with it which are nearly impossible to come by today. The .22 is not for sale.

If anyone has any ideas about value, please let me know; I'd ultimately like to sell it.

If the Story is correct for the rifle and near un-shot as you state,  then gun very likely Double or Triple the going rate of Clean FWB 124's !
$800 - $1200 may be possible IMO.
Certainly not a gun one could shop around for !!

Heck of a rifle those 124's 

Interested in some of those pellets if willing to sell any ??

PS: I agree the 124s are classic sporters. Both of my 124s will hit an aspirin regularly at 30 feet. Many rats have fallen to the .22 at 30 to 50 feet.
Re the pellets, I have 8 tins of 500 count Beeman Laser, 7 boxes of 500 count Mount Star Jet, and 3 boxes of 500 count Beeman's Silver jet. About 9000+ pellets. I was going to include them in the gun sale, but If I get and offer for the gun alone, I'll post you back.

It doesn't sound possible for the original piston seal to be working since they are known to crumble with age. My own 1977 FWB 124 is on its 3rd or 4th piston seal.

Both my 124s have their original piston 1988 seal (I only have the .22 now since I sold the .177). I just lubricated them periodically with Beemans piston seal lubricant and chamber oil. The 22 seal looks almost brand new, and. shows no sign of crumbling. The rifle has been fired several hundred times, mostly toward rodents. I'm lucky, I guess. The rats, not so much.

Very lucky! Many FWB 124 owners have reported that the original seal crumbles and both mine and my brothers suffered the same fate. But a piston seal change is no big deal. Good to hear that it is still slinging lead. If you have a chrono what velocity is your FWB127 producing with the original seal? I always wanted a FWB127 to pair up with my FWB124 but they are always snagged before I can pull the trigger.

I don't have a chrono, but it feels and behaves the same as when it was new. Still has plenty of power and is dead on. There has been no drop change in impact at 10 meters.  Your admonition makes me think I should get an extra seal set, since it seems the current piston seal is  living on borrowed time

Don't sweat it. Even though the FWB124 is no longer in production there seems to be many suppliers of parts for the oh so sweet FWB124. I used ARH since he was highly recommended on many AG forums. I was not disappointed as he has a good inventory and fast shipping. Keep him in mind if and when you need parts. Good Luck.
