Nutter, its all about the stalk

I saw this one nosing around this afternoon and went to my blind but he was not cooperating ( kept going in and out of bushes and I could not get a clear shot) . So I picked up the Express and headed out to stalk him . I decided to try a CPHP in the adapter as I thought it would be a longer shot than a shot shell would do. I worked along a line of trees and bushes where I had seen him and spotted him low in a tree ( he hadn't seen me) . I  kept some bushes between me and him and got to about 10yrds and could see the back of his head. Now I am not the best at totally off hand  but I took the shot like I would with a shot shell and pulled the trigger. He jumped off the branch he was on and hit the ground with just a few twitches. I think this is the first nutter I have gotten with a pellet in the Express and not a shot shell.

Nice! Ive heard those aren't rifled. Nice to know they can still put the lead on target in a pinch.
