Best eating bird in the world right there. Good shooting Bob. Were they all smaller birds or do they just run smaller up there? Might just be my eyes too. Haven't seen any grouse since this spring.

Road hunting.... drive along slowly in our ATV, when you see a Grouse on the side of the road, stop, get out, and look for a clear shot.... Sometimes they are in the open, sometimes you have to stalk a bit to get a shot.... The territory is usually a mixed forest of conifers and aspens.... with deadfalls and underbrush....
