xs25 and xs12 came in yesterday

I'll tell ya what, these guns are nicer than any $80 and $116 gun has a right to be!!  Everything about these guns would lead a person to think they are worth double the price. The stocks are immaculate, not a blemish anywhere and very nice grain.  As far as accuracy both guns are dead nuts on.  I am shooting the 25 with open sights and if I can see what I'm shooting at I can hit it, which too me says it all.  My wife is nuts about the 12.  I put a cheap center point scope on it that came with the Crosman optimus, dead nuts accurate and nice tight groups.  Very light and easy for her to handle and load.

When I crossed the border back into Canada and went into customs they did not believe what I paid for them as there was no packing slip.  No problem, went on to the flying dragons website to verify and they just shook their heads in amazement.  Back out to the car with the guns and I was stuck there because several customs agents wanted to see them, hold them and drool on them as well as talk about air rifles in general.

As if you cant tell, I'm really happy with my purchase.  Communication with Mike has been great, you would think I was dropping closer to a grand than the sub $200.00 I spent.  Mike, a tip o' the hat to ya (hey, I'm an Irishman!) and I wish you all the success you can handle.

Be sure to come back and give a long term review of the riffles.  I will be very interested to hear how the 25 does of a little time. I got my son a xs12 that I am giving him for Christmas this year...  Been thinking about possible buying that 25 in the spring.... so let us know how you like it after a few weeks.

Everything from Mike gets the lube tune.  I really did a heck of a lot of shooting today and that 25 is a ball to shoot.  I bet with time as it settles and breaks in its only going to get better.  I cant imagine a bigger bang for the buck,  not very hold sensitive at all.  I am thinking that I will wait to put a scope on it because it shoots great with the open sights.  Tomorrow is recycle day and every tin can and plastic water bottle is all shot full of holes .  I spent the day under a shade tree shooting from my lawn chair with no bench/rest and targets were 25 yards and further.  A buddy came over and after a few shots said "Got to get one of these", so one more heading our way!  Why wait till next spring....get one now!

^^^ Im waiting because I'm not giving my son the xs12 till Christmas, and we live in an apartment and wont start visinting out cabins where we can shoot a lot till till spring. So i have some time. Plus money is tight now. I still have to pick up a decent scope and case for him ...  He will be 8 come Christmas....  he has no idea.  He is going to be FLOORED!

Imagine being 8 years old and opening up a scoped riffle with full wooden stock....  (Heck, I'm an adult and I'd do back flips if I was suprised with that!  I am glad to hear you love the 25 though.  Its in my price range and I love its looks.

Hope you enjoy your rifles!  I sure wish I could find a girl that would go out and shoot guns with me!

Sweet. I just bought a b26 today from him he is going to fully tune it. I also got the 23 from him which my Dad(70) has taken control over. You are right can't get a better bang for the buck.

Only had to pay sales tax which came to around $25 total...I thought I was going to have to pay duty because they were made in china...must have just got lucky!

xs 25 from Mike.......

Overall best value in a good shoot/carry/hunt gun....IMO.

The synthetic stock version is a dead ringer for the 34 panther.

Put out good power.

Mine have all settled in ~700 shots, and then got really easy to shoot.   

They are a good gun to keep open sighted.
