My beeman hw97kl 177 was never sent. So i asked john why and they said they will send it out. I said hold off on that. Thinking about getting the rws52 in 22cal. John has one in stock. Cant decide. Will be doing target and small game. Seems like the 52 has more power. What should i go with? I love accuracy. Just can't decide. If i don't get the 52 i have to wait till next week to order a hw97kl. Should of called earlier in the week. What would you guys go with?

hw 's are fine and dianas are fine too . the 52 is a nice gun . i have a 54 and its nice . flip a quarter and do what you think. either gun will last a long time with a little care as they are both built like a german panzer tank

I might go with the rws 52. I already have a benjamin elite powermaster in a 177 with the grt 3 trigger. I can buy the rws 52 tomorrow. I guess we will see tomorrow. Want to try it out first. Also have a crosman 1377 pistol. Just want to get a good german gun.

Well, my answer is one of an enabler....get BOTH!
Both guns are chalk full of "pro's" and seriously lacking of "con's". If it where me and to pick just one...I'd go with the 97k. Because I'm more of a paper puncher (the 97 you said is .177). HW's fit and finish "out of the box" quality is awesome! RWS makes great stuff, especialy the 52....but the HW's are a higher quality shooter in my opinion. The HW's trigger does live up to the hype....rekords are sweet.
just my 2 cents

Went with the rws 52 in 22 cal for now. Next one will be the hw97kl. Really like the rws in 22 cal. Shoot 50 pellets to zero in the scope. Very nice shooter with the rws 22 pellets. Have to get to the range for some distance shooting. Even got my first couple of nicks in the stock. Went to set it down and hit the edge of the table. Just my luck. Oh well. Other than that love the way it shoots.
