The Anatomy of my personal FT/BR Rifle

I shoot this rifle (US FT #7) in Field Target and in Benchrest Competition. It has a .22 cal 2 groove Benchmark .7" OD Stainless Steel Taper lapped precision barrel on it that shoots .2" @ 50 yards. Larry Durham called out the tight specifications for the Benchmark barrel. It is a few thou smaller than any other .22 cal airgun barrel sio it is VERY TIGHT. That barrel was on the World Champions gun last year for the BR Worlds and it was on all three of the top guys guns who made up the USA A team and Got Gold for the USA. The Ateam guys Rick Ingraham (Team Captain), Myself and Marvin Reynolds. Rick built the gun that won the worlds and shared it with the Champ. So the A team and the World Champion shot two guns total as Marvin & I shared my gun and Rick and Todd shared the Dawson Custom.
Benchmark 2 groove barrels are amazingly accurate. They cost $350 as blanks so you can understand this is not a conventional $120 LW. LW's are very good. This is off the chart windbucking and makes shooting FT in .22 a real possibility. Benchmark Barrels & L/W barrels are available from Mac1.
I use a Comp Series 35X45MM Luepold set for 9-55 yards.
The Wheel is made by Rick @ LPM Lake Precision Machine. 
Mounts are High Luepold QRW 30MM on a Picitinny Rail with 25 mninutes droop.
Gauge is Ashcroft
Carrier is made by Dick Otten from After Hours Field Targets.
Grip is Colt 1911A Hogue wraparound soft grip.
Hammer is threaded for weight adjustability for power changes.
Rifle is in Benchrest Configuration in these pictures.
I will show it in Ft configuration and on the BR rest later.
1400 PSI Regulator is USA made Ninja Painball 13 CI HPA Regulated
Rifle is Mac1 US FT #7 made in USA Designed and Engineered by Larry Durham. Production engineered by me. I've now produced 237 rifles in Hunter or US FT configuration. Only about 12 ogf thre HPA regulated guns exist. Most are 30Plus FPE but I've made 3 12 FPE guns now as well as many 20 FPE guns for HV Benchrest.
HV rifle shoots 815 FPS with 13.43 JSB .22 cal RS pellets for 20 FPE
Rifle Retails for $2500 in HPA Regulated faSHION LIKE I SHOT THE WORLDS BR WITH in 2011 FOR 3RD PLACE.
It can be had in Red, Blue, Black, Green, Clear anodized or Brown. There are no more orange or gold ones.
Hunters can be had that are upright conventional rifles that have no cant to the grip.
Guns can be configured in Left Canted for no extra and can be switched from Right handed to left handed easily. Hunters are ambidextrous and the Swivel breech can open left or right.
Builds normally take 6-8 weeks.

Some of the members of the Bayou Airgun Club in Baton Rouge La. own guns that came form Mac1. They are excellant FT guns to say the least. I got to shoot a couple of them last year. Yep, it was cool.

I've got a real crude yoke for my SCBA that I loosen from the valve as the method for bleeding, hence the Adjustable. A good adjustable can be a hammer, vise, anvil, drift, plumb bob and whatever else it needs to be so I never leave home without a few different sizes. I've never hit anyone with one but I've tortured myself a few times.

On those wonderful barrels, how long are the blanks; or more importantly how long a barrel can be machined out of them? do they come in 20 cal?

The Stainless Steel Benchmark 2 groove barrels I used in the BR Worlds are .22 only. No .20 or .177 calibers. Benchmark does a 3 greoove .25 but I don't think they do any barrels smaller than .216". Overall length of barrel blank is 30 inches and we can normally have them at least 28" after Prep.
