It's a Theoben ram and Weihrauch pre-charges it to 26 Bar.You can still get the pump and the valve is under a screw cap on the back.People were indeed over-charging their guns. That's why they hid the valve.Can't imagine it blowing from being in the sun. But no it was indoors.Beeman BTW is now Chinese. They got bought. Or so my rep from pyramyd air says.
The Good ones, are still German made though.

Really?I thought the repair center for European made Beeman guns go to Air Venturi in Ohio?
