Best place to shop for airguns st Louis, mo.

Hello all, the family and I are coming to st Louis for a vacation. Probably will be staying in the six flags area. So I thought might be a good time to go shopping for a new gun while the kids are busy.
Need some help with places to shop.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

I live pretty close to Six Flags. Unfortunately I don't know of any airgun stores in the area. There is a Bass Pro shops in St. Charles and a Cabella's in the Maryland Heights area closer to the airport. I don't know which way you are coming from but there is a pretty impressive Bass Pro shop in Springfield MO. There is a Walmart real close to Six Flags. I think they have air guns. If they don't I know the new Walmart in High Ridge MO does. There is also a Sports Authority that has air guns but their a bit limited and pricing is not all that great.

I suppose there is also dicks sporting goods.

I'm sure there is a Dick's sporting goods somewhere but I don't know where for sure. On the up side if you are coming from Illinois all of these places will probably have better guns than your stores do . What are you looking for? Just looking?

lol know what you mean. you'd have to go to arizona or somewhere of the likes to find a big nice store with lots of ag's.

Yep coming from Illinois,
Don't have anything in mind but you never know what strikes you when you are standing in front of
Guns that are not daisy 880s, Crosman 760s, and airsoft.
We have a dicks here and they have 4 guns, all gamo besides the usual daisy and Crosman youth offerings.

yea wouldn't it be cool to walk in AoA or PA etc. with a pocket full of $$$. talk about kid in a candy store lol.

i dont know why but here in missouri everybody has the notion that air guns are all "BB GUNS FOR KIDS" bass pro in springfield mo. which is out of your way has a lot of airguns in stock but thats in springfield,mo and its a waste of time to go to academy , gamos, crosman cheepies and beeman chinese 2 barrel junk .

Yeah or go into one of the many shops like in the u.k.
I watch airgun gear show some and I love it when they do bits in one of the shops over there.

if i were in their area, i would definitely stop in. it would probably be THE high priority on my to stop and see list.   i could at least walk around finger printing them all, til asked to leave.

There is a Dicks in west county mall, approx 15 min from six flags.  And on in st. Peters which is kinda out of te way.

Cabela's in Hazelwood (take i-270 to 370, and its pretty much there before the bridges)

Basspro Shop in St. Charles.

Denny Dennis in Fenton behind the Super Wally World. (i-270 to hwy-30 to 141/Woodsmill to Gravios Rd. ). Has H&N pellets (labeled as "Beeman"). Had the new 1322's in a couple months ago. Prices are good-fair the few times i've been there (usually get a few pellets if i'm in there). They have i think the entire Benjamin-Sheridan model lineup. the 3xx Pumpers, Disco, M-rod, Trails, eb/hb pistols ... plus some Gamo's. http://www.dennydennis.com/contact_us.php
Got my 392, hb22 and 1322 from there at what i considered about even pricing with mail-ordered after-tax.

Also a Sports Authority near that wally world.

Dick's Sporting Goods (i-270 & Manchester, or @ Boone's Crossing).

Make sure you double check their hours w/ when you'll be there, cause one monday I was headed that way (gravois bluffs) thinking I'd get an eb22 while in the area, but they were closed so I ended up spending that money on other things. 

There's also a "branneky"? hardware store by 70 & lindbergh across from a Walgreens that has $159.99 blue streaks and .20/5mm pellets. But Denny might still be a lot cheaper.

The basspro is accessible from 70 I think.

It's entirely possible to take 270 visit Denny in the south, dick's in west county, cabelas in the north, then on your way south bound on 270 take a short detour on 70 to basspro. Assuming you don't mind the time/costs.

Oh and forgot about the surplus stores. Uncle SAMs. There's one by Manchester/woodsmill. Just past the super Wally world there on the other side, southside, of Manchester. All they have is airsoft and benji discos. Not bad selection and price for rope & camping gear, but soo much made in china... Junk/stuff.
