Was chating to a guy on
www.airgunforum.co.uk
and my addiction to Crosmans came up. And he dropped into the chat that he had 2 600s and did I want to buy one normally I would have said no. But last week I won my appeal in the amount of pension I am entitled to (ill health retirement) so I have a little bit of spare cash. Here are the pictures he sent me of my new gun.
I'm so excited he says it's a phase 1 an it cost me $450 for uk that's cheap for a good one of these .

Looks to be in like new condition, except for the co2 cap, looks buggered by a pliers.
That is some serious money...are they really that rare in the UK?

Yes they are rare but we pay serious money for all air guns in UK. But the older Crosman are collectible because they were not imported into UK in great numbers co2 and pumpers just didn't catch on . A lot of the time people just didn't get the idea of pump ups they were just funny guns not a real gun like a springer. And they were plasticky felt like toys. And co2 that was used for making soda water. I was a air gunner from the age of 11 so early 70s. We were brought up on Rellums and Tellys we used to dream about BSA's and Webley's you know guns that went BOUNGGGG and THWANGGG when you fired then not HISSSS and PWUTTTT. Now I'm in my mid life crisis I have come to my sense's and are spending my life's savings on buying these well made good looking guns.
The price I paid was the cheapest I have ever seen one of these go for I now just have to find a box for one to put it in.

Congrats on a very nice score the Crosman 600 is one of the best guns they ever made with a super smooth and crisp trigger it's hard to find one better then the 600s. Im sure you will your like new looking 600. ;)I have 2 and love to shoot them. Shoot wadcutters only and you wont get to many jams if any.
