So, has Weihrauch solved the cocking lever problem,
and would the HW30S be a good choice indoor target shooting?
jdub,Thanks for the reply and the information.I know many people here at GTA are able to work on airguns, and some really enjoy working on them. Me, I screw up most mechanical things that I work on, and therefore I don't even want to go there.Sounds like maybe I should buy one, lube the &^^& out of the cocking lever, and enjoy shooting it! Do they all have the galling problem, or just some? Thanks again!
All Have it.... If you get a 30. just drop me a line and I'll post the easy method install for ya.Really easy .....if you can take off the stock , the rest is downhill. ( No barrel removal)Good luck & happy Shootin!
Okay, I pulled the trigger (pun intended) and ordered a HW30S deluxe in .177. It should ship out Monday from AOA. I am really looking forward to target shooting with this rifle.
So, my plan is to shoot it much, and see what happens. If it is really a problem, I will take it up with AOA, or attempt to install the insert myself.
Well, Looks like it could be a week or so before I will have pictures of my new hw30sd. There have been a few problems.
I am very happy with the stock. The scope is a Leepers 3-9x40 Red/Green mil-dot AO. I had bought the scope to mount on another air rifle but never got around to it. Seemed like a good time to put it to use.
jdub, that is the best looking set of grips on an IZH 46M that I have ever seen! Are those yours?
