If I have learned anything in my short 35 years it that. Well after my burnouts sat night I started the rehab on the side of the road. And after shoveling 2 tons of sand one hing came to mind and that's what my dad always said " If your gunna be stupid you better be strong. Lol well I think about 3 more tons of sand and then flatten it all with a roller then some grass seed and the side of the road will look better than a park. Then I can dedicate it to the myers family! Lol and most of the neighbors have simmered down thank goodness. Old lady next door said it's just dirt in a different place and laughed.

 

I'll never look at a mud puddle the same. I think to myself man i wonder how many tons of sand it would take ti fill it in.

Guess they told you to 'pack sand', LOL     Don't get a hernia - you won't be able to cock your rifle.  And just how MUCH dirt did you blow out of that little old mud puddle?  Good to see fences are mending.

The ruts didn't look too deep at first. It's all still under water. You can see them better while standing in the bed of my truck. My friend said he feels partialy responcible and offered to help fill it in. He's a good friend and in about as much hot water with his old lady as I am with mine. Lol

So the day started at 06 and by 0620 I was slinging sand. Well after 4 tons of sand shoveled in, I also fixed stuff besides my ruts, then I rented a roller and rolled the peewaddin out of my ruts and the ditch for about 4 hours then mowed it all on both side of the road and it's all pretty and drains water quite well now. I am almost impressed. Think I might fire up some vo and pepsi and relax.

And I can't wait to do it agin just not in my neighbor hood. Think I'll hit the croatan national forest next time.
