eat Crow - father & son - double-down - pics

Cuz called.  The Quail Ranch is having trouble with Crows.    

Son was ready to go.  So we loaded up the Storm XT .22 conversion - and a tin of CPHP's into the A100, and headed for the ranch.

An hour after arrival, we saw our first Crow land in one of the big pines - about 30ish yards out.  
The small one (on left in pic) I hit in the wing/shoulder - helicoptered down "crowing" all the way.  
Seconds later, here comes big daddy Crow kane - landed in the same spot!  Cawin' up a storm!
 
Storm reloaded, handed off to son.....he was giddy, so was I....I said be steady son, remember your hold.
THWACK and DROP!  The big one was dead on impact - major pump-house blow-out - dropped like a rock - and landed right on top of the small one I had hit.  Great shot son!    

Cuz & wife were smiling and offering lunch.  A good day at the Quail Ranch.

Ya, the A100 got "tagged" with spray paint a few months back - no harm. I cleaned it up.  lol

It's an OEM Crosman Quest 800 barrel/block - 1 part - called Crosman and ordered for about $16 +ship.  Getting around 650fps w/cphp.  The part number for the .22 is B19-3-01-100-5-5.  It's bare, I just moved everything over to it.

lol - not a shroud, just a Schwinn rubber cycle grip.  Probably visually hideous to most, but I find it much easier on the hand/fingers during "pelletathlons".  Electrical tape underneath, nice and solid.

I don't know how to break this to you, but I think your wife may have had some indiscretions in the past. I am pretty sure your son is the spawn of Jack from Jack in the Box. There is quite a resemblance. LOL. (I don't post photo's of our faces on the net either!) Good shooting. It is always great to spend some quality time with the kids.There isn't anything better!
