I've had airgunitis for a little less than a year now. I must say, I really like this sport. Most of my shooting (and modding) has been with multi-pump pneumatics. I tried some of the cheap Chinese springers (B3) and didn't like 'em. The other day a good friend and fellow airgunner told me that he's getting out of the sport. Said he doesn't have the time to shoot or mod and was getting rid of most of his guns. He made me a deal I couldn't pass up on 4 basically new guns. Each one has less than 20 shots thru 'em. I got a Crosman Quest 1000 (.177), a Quest 800x (.22), a TF-99 Premier (.177) and a TF-99 Premier (.22). I gave the Quest 1000 to my son. That still leaves me with 3 springers. I really like the feel of the Quest 800x. I plan on tuning it and adding a GRT-III. Not sure what I'll do with the TF-99's yet. Hopefully I can learn to enjoy springers as much as my pump guns. I have to admit, after a while all that pumping gets old, lol!

Great additions to your collection and sounds like you got a good deal. Springers are a great variety of air rifles. The self-contained power plant and the need for only a single cocking stroke to provide a powerful shot is a big plus. You will find you have more to learn about shooting when you cross over from single or multi-pump pneumatics to a springer, though. Search around and find out about the artillery hold and hold sensitivity. Have fun! Congratulations.
