ONE DEAD TREE RAT (literally)

I was working on my truck in the back yard, when I heard my Dogs, in the front yard, making a huge commotion. My wife called me up there and showed me a rat had somehow gotten past my dogs, and ran up my Magnolia tree. My neighbor also was there checking out what was going on. He didn't believe me when I said I'd get it down. Be believed me when I pulled out my Gamo Viper express and peppered the Rat's hide with a .22 shot shell! I used the shotgun because I figured the fine shot would be less dangerous in case of a stray ricochet than a solid pellet.
I've reallly made a believer in airguns out of my neighbor. A couple of years ago he acused me of shooting sparrows of the power lines behind my house (about 60 Yards) using a SILENCED .22 LONG RIFLE! In his words, "You can't be hitting those birds with a pellet gun!" That was just my old .177 RWS 45. He hadn't even SEEN a powerful airgun!

Nice shot on the disease spreading vermin! Be careful or your neighbor will get his own airgun and then you 'll have competition
