Cant really tell Donny. The link just goes to backpage's home page. So I'll assume its used? Used springers and scopes as well from Craigslist and alike are a gamble. You hope the previous owners took good care of it but most dont.
Have I bought used? YOU BET! Have I bought real winners? Absolutely.
Just be careful and try it out first.
hope this helps

The guy seems to know airguns by having picked out air-gun rated scopes. Hopefully that means he knew to take care of it. I'd say its a fair deal for the gun and scope at those prices, as long as its near-new looking and problem-free. Hawke scopes are pretty nice and are airgun-rated, so a plus. The one he has, has mildots that are a bit crowded, otherwise everything else is great.
Its not a steal of a deal, but probably about what it would go for on some of the airgun classified forums. One thing for sure though, if its in near-new shape and near to you, its going to save you shipping and some of the immediate drop in value of guns the moment they become "used". If its a gun you really are interested in, its a decent deal. If you decide later you don't like it, you can probably get nearly all of your money back for it by reselling it. Good luck in whatever you decide!

Hmmm.
I'd say nothing special for an HW95....but this IS a LUXUS?
Id want to shoot it first, probably. I have a hard time parting with 400 bucks unless they are a forum member somewhere and have good feedback. Those look like stock pictures to me........
Lets see some real pics, and condition of the stock, steel, etc.....
A Lux might be worth that, the whole combo is definitely a good deal if all is in good order.
Ask for a phone number, etc...and if you can come by and shoot it.
God bless,
Farmer
