I would wait at least another month before I'd buy any Hatsan air rifle.

Months ago this was one of the hottest topics (HATSAN COMING TO THE USA) Still hot topic with a different face. Your product is only as good as the man selling it. True maybe not but for 30 days most vendors will take care of you. After that, with very little parts available we are stuck with the HATSAN USA. WONDER WHAT THEY ARE DOING WITH ALL THOSE RETURNS, we know they are not shipping them back across the waters. We are seeing a hit and a miss on the hatsan. The 2 I have seem fine. The re-branded WFH is a good gun as well. There are many happy people out there and we hear about that but the bad seems to overshadow the good in this case,

After that, with very little parts available we are stuck with the HATSAN USA. WONDER WHAT THEY ARE DOING WITH ALL THOSE RETURNS, we know they are not shipping them back across the waters.

My guess is that they will eventually show up as "refurbs" on AirGunDepot's website.

Hatsan USA contacted me.

Offered to give me $40 if I'll keep this thing, as "they want me to be happy". After shipping costs and add ons, that's all of about $5.00 for my trouble, for something I did not want in the first place.

 

I gave em an out that I'll mention later depending on their reply. Sent em a photo of the barrel this time as well.

I know guys, I was sincerely and honestly hoping for rainbows and moonbeams, and got the Hudson river instead lol.

It gets better.

Check out the sweet bluing and finish on the barrel. (Couldn't help it, had to pull it out and inspect the rifle more closely)

This is just unreal. I am shocked they could send you that as a replacement. Hatsan USA is asleep at the wheel.  This really is unbelievable. Clearly nobody checked that gun before they shipped it. I cant wait to hear how they respond.

... I second the A++ for AGD. Scott has had my back with Hatsan.

According to Hatsan USA, the box and plastic had been opened because they "inspected it" before shipping.

You can polish a $)((#....but you can't make it shine! Never pay for a $)((# when you can manufacture your own for free.

Edison had good PR spin, when you get a chance read up on Westinghouse, Tesla & Marconi.  Edison was the "Bill Gates" of his day and was simply better at monetizing his and others work.

I'm curious as to how Hatsan USA inspected it, when it was shipped to me from their third party import/export service Global Supplier Solutions.

I'm kinda keeping most of the contact out of the public eye for now until I see how this resolves. There isn't much they can do to salvage this, and I have no intention of paying more shipping costs to return this one.

Paul I would not give them anything except my foot you know where  and have them  give you what you want, that's b s  and not even having the same caliber?  no way.

More like a cleaning, and proper tune, then a polishing, then you be back to square one with a good rifle.  I wouldn't call them a $)((# , lol

 I think air gundepot does such a good volume with hatsan,I bet Scott would be able to ship his returns back to hatsa usa, no questions asked.  But still tell me  that isn't frustrating to deal with  for any vendor.. more paper work  more money to be refunded more head ake

40 bucks???  How did they come up with a figure like that??

I would have expected a NEW and throughly inspected/tested rifle,like the one you originally had,at the very least!!

 I purchased a shaft roller rocker arm setup for an engine build,5 years ago.
Then 1 1/2 year ago,I built another engine and used them on that.
While doing an inspection,I found the shafts were excessively worn. I called the company,but they said they had sold the business to another group.
The company then told me to send them to the new guys,for an all expense paid rebuild....no cost to me!
The new owners replaced the bearings and shafts and hardware with much stronger parts!!
