Hatsan Model 95 .177- Amazing Accuracy!

I just shot this 5 shot group after getting my Hatsan Model 95 .177 today. She has less than 100 pellets through her and shoots like a dream. I was shooting in 15 MPH gusts and the last shot at the top was my fault, i was getting excited (LOL) and my heartbeat went up and caused the flier.

I was using 8.4 grn Stoeger X Field, AKA H&N FTT, at 18 yards, 7x on the scope, sitting, rested on a pillow.

EDIT: Just noticed the "1" on "18" is clipped off, so it looks like "8 yards". It's not, it was shot at 18 yards.

It appears that you are using a good pellet (H&N FTT's) at least for accuracy, and if you have an air rifle that shoots well from day ONE then you may be in for a good or even "better" air rifle once it's truly broken-in. Lucky you... I've been there, done that before. Personally I believe that weight of pellet (around the 8.5gr mark) is the ultimate best for such a rifle... Treasure your rifle and shoot well. The Model 95 is a very nice looking rifle. I just bought a Webley ValueMax which is just like the 95,, made by Hatsan anyway and except for the plastic (or should I say synthetic) stock, it looks remarkably like the 95... Nice...!!!

This and other posts have me seriously thinking about a Hatsan. Could you comment on your impression of the of the SAS system,  Quattro trigger and 3-9 scope?

Hey Zrod, actually I did NOT clean the barrel, nor did i tighten stock screws. I just had the scope on. Yes, she's a keeper for sure

I've had this one day, so bear with me.

The SAS system is nice, but i honestly don't feel a difference between the Hatsan and my other springers. I'm sure it works, but I don't notice it. The Quattro trigger looks nice, but mine out of the box was very very heavy, little to no creep, and the second stage is hard to notice. So right now I'm not too pleased with the trigger. The scope is a 3-9x32 fixed power non AO. It has a very crisp sight picture, the only downfall is no AO, which results in fuzzy crosshairs unless you adjust your eyes. The scope mounts are decent, to say the least.
