Advice on getting the disco to group better

So far I have landed on the 14.3 gr primer hollow points for best accuracy. The only thing I have done to my 22 disco is the trigger mod and removed the iron sights.
If I pump the rifle to 2000 lbs(as read on rifle gauge) The first two shots are fliers. Then I get 5 pellets touching each other in a very tight group. Then the group widens a tad for the next 5 shots, with 3 pellets tight and two about an inch from them.
This is at 30 yards. I was hoping to get this at 50 yards, but I am losing hope.
If you have a disco and you got it too shooting well, I need some advice.

Sounds like you might wanna add a second barrel band, and that the POI is changing when your air tube is changing pressure. My Disco use to do it, you can try checking your band....and or moving it forward.
then double check your stock bolt, make sure everything is tight

I made another round on the stock bolt. It was tight, maybe not enough. Where can I purchase another barrel band?
I am going to shoot this afternoon and see if I did anything.

Will do!
Thanks CitySniper, the group stays together and is very tight.
I am using a music stand with a piece of 3/4 inch plywood clamped to it, shooting at 30 yards. I shot about 15 shots heard a new sound, investigated and the pellets were hitting in basically the same place, they shot clean through the music stand. The rifle was on a rock solid bench rest, so no kudos to me.
I'll back it up to 50 yards and go for pellet selection
Thanks again for your help.

$2.65 and $4.00 shipping. Very reasonable. She said the should ship out shortly.

Cool, Just make sure when you install the new front barrel band, not to tighten down the top screw too tight but just enough to secure it snugly. you don't wanna over tighten and press the barrel down against the airtube.
this will keep your barrel solid, provide extra bracing. and will prevent movement in case you knock your gun around in the woods or in the truck.

Here is a helpful hint. Pull back your breech bolt and under it is a small grub screw. It is probably loose. It holds the breech and barrel to chamber. If you have a full load of air you will notice a gap between tube and barrel. As pressure lessons the gap will close. Tighten down that screw and you problems will be solved.

I didn't see anything. I pulled the bolt back as in loading a pellet but no little (or otherwise) screw was visible.
maybe I'm looking in the wrong place.

I think Crosman moved the location of screw back some on later production models, so you may have to remove the bolt to see it.
On my earlier post you want to look at the gap when you are very low on air and then compare the gap when you have a full load of air, between the barrel and tube.
