Did this one ahead of the CO2 Pistol match, because shooting one-handed is more difficult even though the target is closer.  Groups were pretty tight this time around...so I'm happy.

I've been trying different formats so my 50+ eyes can focus on the front site and still see the center of the target (albeit somewhat fuzzy). I tried the black rings like Whitley uses and lost the sights.

I've been trying different formats so my 50+ eyes can focus on the front site and still see the center of the target (albeit somewhat fuzzy). I tried the black rings like Whitley uses and lost the sights.

Since I shoot most of my targets indoors where there is less natural light I like the white centers so the front black blade shows up better against the white center and lets me know where I'm at.  I also use a Merit Optical Attachment on my glasses to bring the front sight, rear sight blade and target all into focus.

X2 on the merit. Between it and the special made shooting glasses, I can see my sights very clear again.

I like the idea of the Merit, I may try some experiments with my glasses to see if I can get the effect. I'd love to touch 150 just once! Especially with a P17
