Good friends and bb-guns

One of the best things about our sport is the great friendships we make through our Airgun journey. A few years ago I met a real Airgun friend that set me hip to the good stuff. Sold me my first real Airgun,..... A Beeman RX 2. Awesome gun, and even more awesome after I rebuilt it. So in keeping with a deal we struck up, if I ever decided to part with it, I'd give him first dibs. And vice versa. Best part is I know it is in good hands and a good home. And I'll probably have it back in my stable sooner or later. But for now I must make room for my minty FWB 127D mk1 Sporter. Life is good!!!!!!

It sounds like you've got a life-long airgun shooting buddy there.  I know we all wish we had somebody like that who understands what the draw to airguns is.  I remember going out into the desert in just out of high school with my dad and brothers.  We all brought our .22 lrs, but I also brought my Benjamin pumper.  They thought I was crazy to want to pump it up and not use semi-auto pbs to shoot cans.  They still think it.  Definitely be glad you've got somebody near who understands! 

While its nice you can probably borrow back that RX-2, I think you might forget about it!  You've hit the holy grail of springers with getting your hands on that FWB 127D!  Either you are extremely lucky in finding it or a very determined searcher, as you don't see those very often.  I think the FWB in .22 cal. is going to cover all of your .22  cal. needs.  Who needs an RX-2 with one of those?  Congratulations on finding that one.  Now, don't go and sell or loan it to your friend, no matter how good of a buddy he is, lol!
