Crosman Titan GP .22 Caliber Air Rifle- 695 FPS

I got my new crossman titan yesterday. It shot pretty wild out of the box. All I did was clean the barrel and lightly coated with 30 weight. It tightened up to silver dollars after that. Pretty nice shooter. Very quiet and it still goes through 3/4 pine.
For the $74 I spent on it I am impressed. I tried to get my brother in law to get one. He is interested in a gun. I told him this is a gun but you do not have to get an FID for it.
He will change his tune when i show it to him.

I got mine in too. Shots are pretty wild and it's still breaking in.

Bought mine as soon as AG Daily offered them the 1st time at $85.
I have made the a similar statement before on similar threads but it is worthy of re-iteration:
"The Benjamin Titan lo-vel model---as removed from the shipping carton---is representative of the ideal that both owners and tuners seek with a spring-powered air rifle".
I've tuned a LOT of springers for both myself and others in the last few decades with results that I'm quite proud of. A few---very few---times I've approached the same result.
A good friend recently brought me a well used R7 to re-tune that had been originally tuned by a respected name in the industry. I won't name him for obvious reasons but I was appalled by the lack of attention that was apparent! I did the job right this time investing all the elbow grease and expertise originally neglected---followed by an ARH tune kit and a Vortek piston seal. The little rifle is now beyond 'sweet' as it sits in the rack awaiting his return. It redefines 'buttery'.
It sits beside my lo-vel Titan and I would be hard-pressed to distinguish between the two were I blindfolded and you passed them to me loaded and ready to shoot. Nor would the cocking strokes betray them. The Titan is almost as smooth and easy as the R7.
So----does the lo-vel Titan impress me? You figure it out. Tom

My Titan GP LV .22 from the AGD deal last week just got done breaking in! I also learned what hold she likes, resting on my palm, and almost no contact with the shoulder. With this she gets less than dime sized groups from 18 years.
It's like nightand day. Earlier this morning she was still rough and getting 2" groups with a rifle Powder burner hold.
