Question on Hatsan 125

So in other words, no, he does not have them in stock, and no they are not "available now" as stated on his site.   

I am going to let it go since I've already ordered and don't feel like dealing with the PayPal joy of disputing and getting a refund. I will however be contacting him about misleading advertising. If it is not in stock, you should not say it is available, but rather state that you can PREORDER.

I guess you're right about the firearms,  thats what I originally thought, then I saw only air guns on the site, so I assumed they were under a different law than we in Ohio were.  We don't consider air guns or bb guns a firearm here so I was just taken back when I read how to order.   

They need to change that on the web site, and clarify it by saying  " airguns"  ship to your residence but " firearms" do not..     I wouldn't expect anyone to ship a firearm to my house,  you have to go to a gun dealer to buy those, and you have to fill out the background check paperwork, then wait 7 days before you can get your gun here.


Sorry for the confusion,  I read that about how to order, and thought thats no good so I called Airgun Depot, and ordered from them, with free shipping, and its on the truck already and on its way.

OP here. Well, I got back in town from a 3 week trip. I opted for the Hatsan 125 Sniper with a black stock, not camo. I went with the Sniper for the moderator on the barrel, but the adjustable cheek piece MAY be useful. I went with the black stock because I despise camo. If it came in wood, that is what I would have gotten. Pyramyd Air should be shipping it on 4/10. I will now be re-reading the posts on gas rams for it.

congrates. I love how mines looks.  really like teh tactical look it has and its shooting great. Going to take it out tomorrow for some chipmunk control. See if I can get any   plus there's many reds in that area

My 125 is  coming today Tuesday   it is now 12:05 am lol

My new Hatsan 125 Sniper in .25 caliber in a black stock. Also showing the scope that came with it, the scope it will wear (Centerpoint 4-16x56 AO) and a bipod that will never even come out of the wrapping.

That thing looks sick!  I believe you will love it.  My .25 TH gets better every time I use it.  It cocks and shoots WAY better now than it did 200 shots ago.  Sooo powerful, smooth, and accurate.

The first 50 times you cock it may seem very rough. Give it time

HOLY MOLY That gun has a new name. It is called THE MONSTER! It takes 2 hands to cock! This AIN'T your Saturday afternoon plinker! I am glad that a long day with this will be maybe 4 shots (once it is dialed in).

However, that trigger HAS to go! You almost have to stand on it to get it to discharge. I have a set of NRA trigger weights. The Hatsan held up all 4.75 pounds of weight that I have, and still took AT LEAST 2 more pounds of weight to get it to fire. I would not be surprised if it was an 8 to 10 pound trigger. I have the two screws for the trigger, I just need to figure out how to adjust them.  It is definitely a keeper once the trigger is done though.

  It's really weird how some of these triggers are great out of the box and others are like yours. I had the 125th and it had a trigger like yours. Found myself checking to see if it still had the safety on. I screwed out the rear small allen screw about an 1/8 and it helped. I ended up sending the 125th back due to other issues and got the 125 sniper camo. The trigger on this on is pretty good out of the box.

OK, I put in the two screws last night and adjusted them today till I liked the feel of the trigger. It is now nice and light. I put my NRA trigger weights on it again. It will hold up 3.25 pounds, but not 3.5 pounds, so I am calling it a 3.25 pound trigger. I am fine with that because I use a 4 pound trigger on my .45acp in Bullseye Pistol and am used to it.

This is now officially a nice airgun.  After another 100 pellets or so for it to settle in and I will shoot it for groups.
