Is the rail a true weaver rail or a 11mm / weaver hatsan design ? My Weaver rings did not attach well to the rail on my rifle. Thats why i got the 11mm to weaver adapter and it was fine.
Tarheel. read this review by Tom Gaylord, he talks about the rail thats on th first and second gen. WFH's. The third gen.'s that are out now have a re-disigned rail so Iam not sure if this applies still. But for the first and second gen.'s it does.https://www.pyramydair.com/blog/2008/05/walther-25-caliber-falcon-hunter-part-1/https://www.pyramydair.com/blog/2008/05/walther-25-caliber-falcon-hunter-part-2/https://www.pyramydair.com/blog/2008/05/walther-25-caliber-falcon-hunter-part-3/https://www.pyramydair.com/blog/2008/06/walther-25-caliber-falcon-hunter-part-4/
You will not be able to upgrade the trigger. The receiver is different for the Quattro trigger, but....you can polish the sear and mating metal surfaces. I did that on mine and it made the adjustment much easier...and shoots smoother. Hone the cylinder, deburr, get a new piston seal from JM....fill the butt stock to absorb shock and quiet it down, and use blue threadlock...and...check the stock where the rear screw passes through from the trigger guard to the reciever. Mine was starting to tear out, so I epoxied a bronze bushing in there, and the whole thing fit together much more tightly. Then....if you get ambitious, you can drop a gas spring it...and it will be even quieter and smoother to shoot...and much less hold sensitive.
Congrats on the good score. I scored a .25 cal WFH for $100.00 but it did not have a stock. About $15.00 shipping (smaller package no stock). I been trying to find a wood stock that will work.

POWER !Dave Hi Dave the problem with that power is the pellet loosing its stability, I believe anything over 950 starts to loose it stability, cant remember now the exact number, and i dont want to start buying special weighted pellets, the cphp are nice and cheap compared to others lol
I think it was some famous air gun tuner that said the pellets loose stability over 950 fps, it has to do with the sound barrier. i think it was tom gaylord. I f you ask any of the guys with the 180 bar Gas Ram's they will tell you their best accuracy comes with the heavier pellets.
