Update On WFH .22 bought used with bad triger 125.00( It works fine!)958 fps

Update this has the sas  as well
received this  today  the used w f h .22 supposedly with a bad trigger 125./30. shipped.

It has plastic trigger, with stock bolt & nut like the new hatsan moddels,but  with out the sas.  Rifle is in excellent condition looks new.

  I took the receiver out and looked the trigger over only thing i could find was the trigger was  loosy goosey. so I tighten up the two trigger adjustment screw  and put her back together, and Wammo it shoots  just fine,  a little  stiff yet crisp and predictable but its fine.[/b][/b] cronyed at 958 fps with .22 14.3 grain lead pellets  wow...

 I just got a the deal of  the year I guess gee.           lol

Oddly some one had this apart, the small set screw on the stock  bolts nut was sliced with a wide flat head slit, obviously cause some one previously stripped it, that came out easy.

I am going to take this apart and tune it and see if  the receiver  can be  converted  to a sas by getting a welled curl installed on the mount like the sas models  have

Yes, sir . . .  Mike's rifle has the SAS Shock Absorber System on it !

Mike, you got a real winner there.  Even though it doesn't have the Quattro trigger, at least it has the SAS so it shouldn't be as hard on scopes.

Cris is  that the sas  it did not say anything on the box I thought the sas had a separate curl , hmm maybe i am wrong

If everything else is the same, seems the new trigger would work as well.

Did a little looking. From what I found, the entire mechanism is redesigned for the new triggers, so they will not interchange with the old versions.

New trigger won't go.  The quattro trigger version has 2 retainer pins in the reciever, one holds the trigger assembly in place and provides added support, while the other is there just to hold the spring in.  There is only one hole and pin in this version.  No matter, though.  It's a decent, serviceable trigger.  I'd probably take the trigger group apart and CAREFULLY polish it with a dremel using the tiny wire wheel, then a dab of moly on all contacting surfaces and that alone will likely improve it noticeably enough.  Might even see results if you skip the polish and just do the moly.  Just my 2cents.

I have the same rifle in .25. It is a hammer! That is the sas. I am pretty sure the new trigger will not fit. The gun has a hefty cocking effort and a strong recoil but it is a hammer. Enjoy your new toy.

Thanks every one for  the interest and input/ I dont know where my brain is  sometimes its just not focused,
 some where we were talking about getting a Weaver/Picatinny mount, for the wfh  some how I was thinking i could get one with with 4 bolt per rings and in a one piece 
 
obviously  that's only in a dove tail one piece mount / 
 I will grab one from pyramid air , does the wfh  tend  to have barrel droop?

I would have to guess "yes", since most break-barrels do have barrel-droop . . .

If I am wrong, somebody please correct me.

  this looked interesting  but i am sure it defeats  the purpose of  not directly using the weaver rail already on the wfh its also droop compensating from pyramid air
