newbie from Croatia

Hi all. just to introduce myself. I'm from Croatia, 28 years old and I'm interested in airguns. I must highlight that i'm a complete newbie in this
. I bought a Gamo Hunter 440 (cal 0,22) and I just ordered GRT III a few days ago
. I will use it for target shooting.
What do you think about this gun because on the net I can find alot of good and bad oppinions?
I'm thinking of placing a scope on it in due time, either Nikko Stirling Gold Crown Air King AO 4-12x42 or Hawke Airmax MAP 6 4-12x40 AO MAP6 if I manage to get it from UK somehow because in my country they are hard to get as well as very expensive.
what is your advice on the scope?
cheers.

Welcome to the GTA. No personal info about the AG, but I know someone who has the hawke, it's a very nice scope, he has it on a PB and is very happy with it. I'm sure someone(or ten) will respond about the 440.

Mario, welcome to GTA Forums. Glad you found and joined us airgun addicts. You have a good gun to start with. Adding the GRT-III trigger is the best money you can spend on any gun it fits. I have not owned either of the scopes but both sound like good candidates. I would probably lean toward the Hawke, just from what I've heard about them.
Again, welcome. Post often and post pictures. We enjoy seeing and hearing about our members airgun adventures.
Happy Shooting!!!!

Welcome to GTA, nice to have you with us. The 440 can be a fine shooter. I have more than a few GAMO rifles with the exact same power plant that's in yours and one of them is .22 cal they are good shooters. As the others have told you the GRT trigger is the best thing you could've ordered for the rifle. As for scopes, I don't have any personal experience with either of those scopes so I'll leave the scope recommendations to the other members. I'll be looking forward to your future posts.

Marklari...a big welcome to the GTA forum and family. Don`t have that air rifle and scope.....so can`t comment on them. But I`ve read that the Hunter 440 is pretty good.
