After reading this, the Hatsan Mod. 95 is not in my future. Since yours truly does a breakdown and tune, the no parts available is a deal breaker for me. I tend to look at a warranty as shredder fodder just from my experience with a lot of Companies.IMHO..Peashooterjoe
This is interesting stuff, and I'm glad it came to light when it did. I have yet to get over the power addiction, and am looking at getting the strongest springer possible. I was pretty much set on a Beeman Mach 12.5, but the WTM's AKA Hatsan's were giving me second thoughts.

I get 806 fps on my mod 95/ .22 using 14.3 lead pellets after a tune and my j m seal i installed. the beemans chinese series barely make it to 800fps. speaking of that mack 12.5 that proab;y wil get to 800 fps but thats standard for most hatsans

It'll do low to mid 900's with heavy pellets.
Even if you couldn't get factory replacement parts for your Hatsan rifles, you can get aftermarket springs, nitro pistons, and JM seals. Sure you would have to do some work, but you would still have a quality rifle in the end with many years of operation. how ofter do the trigger components wear out, or any thing else mad of high quality steel? It will be your spring, piston seal, and breech seal. All of those can be had aftermarket and give equal or better performance.Where else are you going to find beautiful Turkish walnut stocks, or German steel barrels, or anything with the Hatsan build quality at these low prices? Even if you had to put some aftermarket parts in them, they would still be worth every penny. Just my opinion.
I also got about the same line when I suggested the muzzle velocity was not up to par. I told them I was getting an average of 735 fps from my .22 with CPHP 14.3 gr pellets. Here was their response:"The Model 95 .22 cal velocities asre rated in the factory with a 13.93 grain match pellet. This likely the reason for the velocity drop off. We suggest that you trya pellet in this weight to see if you get an acceptable velocity range of760 - 800 FPS. If this does no work you may return the gun to: Hatsan USA 1300 Melissa Dr. #124 Bentonville, AR 72712"Anyone know where I can get a 13.93 gr match pellet in .22?
I have made a mountain out of a mole hill. Already came up with workarounds to parts and I'm sure a solution for Hatans restrictions will be overcome by some of the tuning suppliers or some new entrepreneur.

IIRC, they're around 14 to 14.3 grains. Nathan
