What Is The Longest Yardage Shot You've Made?

on youtube was watching a guy make a vague references to making a 200 yard shot.  now i know your not going to take anything down at that distance.  but was wondering is it possible?  so what is your longest shot you have taken on a target?  what round did you use?  how many grains?  and what big bore did you use?  i think it would be interesting to find out how far you can shoot accurately.

Shot a pigeon at 40 yards, off hand with my Beeman RS2, 7.9 gr Gamo Tomahawk, 4x32 scope. ( I don't hunt regularly )

Regularly shoot pie tins off hand at 110~ yards with my Stoeger X20s .22, cphp, 4x32 scope.

A friend of mine and me used the ring an empty 55 gallons drum like a gong with his Sheridan 5mm pumper. Drum was @225 yards. Iron sights using most of the front blade in the rear notch. Pifft!.....Tong!!   Man, we killed a lot of stuff with that old pumper. In the 70's we could walk down through the middle of town with Rifles and nobody gave you a second look, heading to hunt woodchucks on the other side of town.

I've only shot my new Disco at 75 yards so far, breezy, but I was keeping them in the paper label of a gallon plastic jug.

Hope to do some 100 to 125 yard work this weekend if the darn breeze would calm down.

DaveDaDeerslayer -- pretty cool story!  i was on youtube the other day and one of the guys on there that has a dragon claw (single tank) was butting huge dents into old propane tanks at 250 yards!  don't know what power he is hitting with.  but still cool!
