The long screw and a screw on each side and above the trigger hold the grip on.  This is kind of a funny looking pistole but I always liked the looks of it.  It does look a lot better with the grips on it.  I chronied it with my new chrony (PS Chronograph  Precision Shot) a 10 shot string High 426  Low 412  Avg 418.3 Spread 14 Deviation 4.04 FPE 3.04.  Not bad for a 50ish year old gun.

I think this is about par for this Pistol I put a drop of pelgun oil in the chamber and will let it soak over night to see if there is any improvement.  It has leather breach seal and piston seal.  The finish is a little worn but I think it gives it some character.  It will be mostly a paper punching Pistol.  I think I have found a Grip (used) for it and possibly a Match rear sight for it.  I have a BSF Media .22 rifle that shoots very nicely but the barrel is bent up.  Probably the result of pulling trigger while broken open.  These guns do not have a safety on them.  I might start a collection of BSF's.  I have seen another Media .177 and also an underlever for sale.

I will try to do a Chrony string tomorrow to see if piston seal is better.

You did very well.  It's worth considerably more than that in parts.  (Not a lot, but a fair bit more.)  I'm wondering if Howie1A here could whip you up a stock?  They are very basic.  Just do a search or go to GunBroker and look up BSF in the air pistols category.  Guy has had one listed there so long it's like a reference.

I know the one you are talking about.  I actually got this one from  gunbroker.  I am waiting on the inquiry from the stock that I found.

Stock inquary came back and the stock is on order from England.  It is used but was about $30.00  and is the target version.  I also ordered a few other bits.  Probably will take the rest of the month to get here.

Got the stock today in the mail.  Really looks good.





I have the trigger guard but I need to get a screw to hold it on.  First time I got to shoot it with the stock.  It shoots real nice for 450 fps.  Nice and easy to cock.  While I was at it I ordered the target sight assembly for it.  It seems to be accurate but the sight is sort of general. The rear is just a large U shape and my eyes don't really see things that well.  The original sight had a hood on the front sight and that help the sight picture.
