Just wanted to note that both my .22 talon and my newly converted .22 WFH(was a .25wfh) both throw 14.3 at an extremely consistent 890-900fps, both with untouched powerplants. This is pretty impressive for several reasons but 1st and foremost is that the guns actually make the power advertised by the manufacturer, great guns is right!

Great. The way theses guns shoot out of the box with no home tune or mods is the exact reason I have not opened mine up. It's not broke and it will shoot with the rest of THE GANG so I choose to leave it alone.

I was really surprised at how hard hitting and accurate the gun is.Great to hear the Walther is constant .It seems to me on mine that the more i shoot it the better it gets.If u dont mind me asking, why did you change the .25 to a .22.

A friend of mine was shooting my beloved .25 and accidently let the barrel slip while cocking the gun. Luckily he wasn't hurt but the barrel was bent pretty bad. I was very lucky to source a spare barrel from an airgunsmith on this site and just put it all back together yesterday. The .22 talon was found on the classifieds for a great price and I ended up with both, however, the talon is equipped with the quattro trigger while the FH just has the old trigger, both have SAS. I put many pellets through the .25 and it was very accurate, impressively smooth to cock/shoot, just a perfect high power springer. The newer talon is much harder to cock and has a more pronounced recoil, it's even louder. Hopefully it will smooth out as it breaks in. Seems like I experienced the same kind of break in with the FH. 14.3 gr. Pellets are possibly to light for the powerplant too, imho, and it's likely that heavier projectiles would lessen noise and vibration. Not to rave to much, but my turkish experience both with webly's and my walther has been superb, so long as triggers wern't taken into consideration, now the Q trigger has that issue resolved and I fully expect the .22 talon to become the most perfect 30ftlb spring gun I could buy at any price short of custom. I love what the turkish folks are doing for us airgunners.

I can't remember what forum I was on yesterday but there was a WFH for sale for I think $125.00 or $150.00 that did not have the q-trigger and the trigger was bad. The claimed the gun would shoot but you had to do something with it. Gun looked good. I just typed in air rifle forums. If it were and RWS it would be worth that for parts. A barrel for them is not cheap and I would expect the barrel for the Walther would be just as high. Shoot my WFH some last night and it was a pleasure to shoot but it is a powerhouse. I shoot the 14.3 discoverys which are the same as the cphp and they shoot great. I have all my GANG eating out of the same bowl even though I have a great selection of pellets. The 14.3 weight fine for that gun. I was shooting only the predators and some heavier H&N'S WHICH THE GUN SHOOTS JUST AS GOOD WITH THEM. The WFH is the least shot gun in the gang, but might be the best pick of them all. It as some of the other GANG are just too much gun for my backyard. One reason that I have installed the soft kits in the RWS 350'S so I could shoot them in the backyard. Good luck on a barrel. I am sure there is one out there. Umarex MIGHT HAVE ONE. It will be pricey.

The WFH for $125 was bought by a member here, a new barrel from umarex is like $165 bucks. Best to buy a parts gun if you can find one.

You can get a barrel from umarex but they are like $150. Correct me if I'm wrong, however, but i think it's a LW barrel?
